I finally had the opportunity to sort through, process and prepare a gallery of some of my favourite images from the June, Art of Biodiversity Tour with my good friend Greg Basco of Foto Verde Tours. Once again, Greg did not disappoint and took our group to some of his “secret spots” and many of my favourite areas in Costa Rica.
Rainforest lighting is always challenging and the high ISO performance of my newly acquired Nikon D3s was put to the test. I will say that it is amazing, however, cranking the ISO to the max does not necessarily yield the best results. I always try to choose the lowest ISO possible to maximize and create the best quality image. I won’t go into specifics now but stay tuned for a more detailed opinion/review on the high ISO performance of the Nikon D3s. For now, please sit back and enjoy some of my favourites from the tour.
